The Aspire Leisure Centre is in the grounds of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, Middlesex. The Centre can be reached via the main hospital entrance in Brockley Hill (the A5 road to Edgware) or from a separate entrance in Warren Lane (gates close at 8pm weekdays).
The hospital provide a free shuttle bus service Monday - Friday between 6am - 9pm.
The Unobus 615 route stops in Wood Lane just outside the entrance gate. Please view the timetable for the service.
On Saturday, 22nd November 2014, essential infrastructure works will be carried out along a section of the main hospital road adjacent to the mortuary/anaesthetic office, near the pedestrian crossing. Due to the nature of the machinery required to carry out the required works, and in the interest of maintaining health and safety, we have decided to close this section of road for the entirety of the weekend. This will affect access through the hospital for traffic and pedestrians. Traffic marshals will be stationed at the PACCU car park and the OPD road to advise on the revised access routes.
The duration of the works is estimated to be 2 days, with full access resuming on the morning of Monday 24th November 2014.
