Aspire Leisure Centre's swim teachers take on the Aspire Channel Swim We are a team of five swimming teachers who all teach at the Aspire Leisure Centre - Harrison, Dec, Alex, Aiysha and myself, Sharon. Our ages range from 23 to 59! We are taking on the Aspire Channel Swim again because we want to try to beat the money we raised last year! We love working at the Aspire Leisure Centre because the customers and staff are amazing. The swimming pool has a ramp for easy wheelchair access and it is kept at a warm temperature. Our swim is going ok and we hope to finish the 22 miles in the 12 weeks. As well as asking people to sponsor us, I have put up a poster at my church and in the community room where I live. We are passionate about raising money to support people with Spinal Cord Injury and want to do anything we can to help. Keep going team - we will do it!
